content warnings

Although the visuals of this game are cute, his game is recommended for ages 16+, as it deals with themes about death and contains graphic depictions of violence.The Dark Endings, which are easily avoidable, contain graphic depictions of violence, and should not be chosen by sensitive players.

Some characters in the game use derogatory ableist language which some players may find uncomfortable. The game also contains strong language.

In the True Ending there are themes of parental abuse and suicide, but they are not graphic and are mentioned in passing.

Lastly, the game has occasional flashing lights (a singular red flash at about 0.3 seconds long), and is very brightly coloured in some scenes, and some scenes may cause eye strain. Q&A

Q1 What is your inspiration for the game?;
- I was very inspired by any kind of media that uses a cute aesthetic with a dark story, such as Gakougurashi, Happy Sugar Life, Madoka Magica, Doki Doki Literature Club, and Liar Liar. I was also initially inspired by the Ace Attorney games for the mystery concept.
Q2. How long did the game take you to make?
- The scripting, sprite illustration, background illustration, and finding music took around 3 weeks, and coding took around a week and a half. I actually started concept art for this project around a year ago, but didn't actually start until January 2021
Q3. What tools did you use?
- For illustration, I used an iPad Pro, Apple Pen, and Procreate. I did the coding on ren'py. I found all my music off of Twin Musicom and the sound affects on Freesound.org
Q4. What was your inspiration for the characters?
- They were all very much inspired by anime characters I like. Youko was inspired by Anjo Naruko from Anohana, Kotoko was inspired by Saki Hanajima from Fruits Basket. Nozomi was vaguely inspired by Seiko Kotobuki from Lovely Complex.
Q5. Are fan-works allowed?
- Absolutely! Any sort of fan work (fanart, fanfics, cosplay etc) are super appreciated! Feel free to tag me in or send me anything you make!
Q6. How about fan merch?
- For now, I would request no fan merch of any kind be made. This may change in the future though.
Q7. What about let's play videos / reviews / livestreams?
- All are very welcome! Just make sure you leave a link to a place where people can find the game
